Ingredients:
4-6 slices of bread
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan
1 Tbsp Thyme
Celery salt and onion powder to taste
Optional Veggie Toppings
2 Tbsp Butter
4 oz sliced mushrooms (About 6 mushrooms)
2 Tbsp diced onion
Directions:
1- Toast the bread then line them on a baking sheet.
2- Turn the oven to broil once you have finished with the toast.
3- If adding the veggie toppings, melt butter in a pan and add the mushrooms and onion, cook for about 5 minutes, add thyme and sauté a few more minutes.
4- While the vegetables are sautéing, mix together the Mozzarella, Parmesan, and Mayo in a separate bowl. Add Onion powder, thyme (if you did not already add it to the msuhrooms) and salt to taste.
5- Use a spatula to spread the cheese mix onto the toast.
6- If you are adding veggies, place the mushroom mixture to the top of the cheese spread.
7- The topped toast slices should be placed on a baking sheet, and broil for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese starts to brown.
