Ingredients:
1 small yellow onion
3 cloves garlic
1 Jalapeño (optional for heat)
7 oz diced green chili (canned is fine)
3/4 cup vegetable broth
Handful of Cilantro
1 tbsp cumin (Add more to taste)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions:
1- Dice the onion (And optional jalapeño w/seeds removed) and sauté in a heated/oiled skillet for about 5 minutes.
2- Add the diced garlic and sauté for one additional minute.
3- After the onions are fully sautéed, add all of the ingredients to the food processor and blend to your desired consistency.
Feel free to add additional spices to cater to your heat tolerance.
